该次晚宴7月25日在该选区ZAD Restaurant and Cafe进行，吸引超过160名支持者及他们的家庭，充分体现该区的多元文化特色。候选人Fayaz Karim率全家参与。重要嘉宾包括有Toronto-Danforth国会议员Craig Scott，长期竞选与策略经理Bill McBain以及昔日密西沙加居民Edna Toth和他的先生Mike Toth。
由竞选经理Waquas Shafique带领，Fayaz Karim竞选团队出席，包括有Felipe Pareja、Zainab Hussein、Jerry Jarosz、Ahmed Amr和Daria Mercer以及众多义工，大家在为密西沙加的改变而努力。
在筹款晚宴上，Karim说，“我非常高兴看到大家一起度过一段愉快的时间，并尽情享受美食。为自己、为后代，为社区更美好的未来，加拿大人为全面改变已经做好准备。对于政治分裂，大家已经疲劳。大家共同认识到，NDP才能带来真正的变革。”
A Fundraising Dinner was held on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 for the Federal NDP’s Mississauga – Streetsville Riding, at ZAD Restaurant & Cafe on Queen St. in Streetsville.
The event was attended by more than 160 supporters and their families, proudly representing Mississauga’s diverse communities, all united in support of Candidate Fayaz Karim, who was there with his family.
Also attending were several guest speakers, including Craig Scott MP (Toronto – Danforth), Bill McBain, long-time Campaign Manager and Strategist and former Mississauga citizen of the year Edna Toth with her husband Mike Toth.
Also there were Fayaz Karim’s Election Campaign Team, led by Waquas Shafique, Campaign Manager, Felipe Pareja, Zainab Hussein, Jerry Jarosz, Ahmed Amr, Daria Mercer and our enthusiastic team of volunteers ready to bring change to Mississauga-Streetsville.
“I’m so happy everyone had a great time and enjoyed the excellent food” Karim said. “Canadians are ready for change, and want to build a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. They are tired of the politics of division, and understand that the NDP is their only clear choice for bringing about that much needed change.”
