前联邦财政部长，现任联邦自由党副党魁古德文(Ralph Goodale)10月9日在安省烈治文山市，与华裔商界领袖以及多位联邦自由党国会议员候选人，进行圆桌会议，分享联邦自由党在就业和经济发展方面的党纲与计划。古德文表示：“由小杜鲁道带领的联邦自由党会发展国家经济，为所有加拿大人带来真正意义上的变革。”
自上周日小杜鲁道在宾顿市举行超过7,000人参加的历史性大型集会以来，小杜鲁道以及所有自由党国会议员候选人都获得了推崇，因为自由党发展国家经济，创造就业，以及加强发展中产阶级的计划与国民所预期的一致。华裔社区的商业领袖们也分享了他们对小杜鲁道及他团队的支持，希望在他的计划下，为国家经济起到改善作用，让加拿大真正运作起来。
联邦自由党的计划包括：
● 投资600亿元用于基础建设，是加拿大历史上最大的基础建设投资；
● 减中产税阶7%；
● 通过额外拨款77,500万，用来帮助民众找到以及维持更好的工作，以及技能培训；
● 投资创新科技，帮助发展经济，创造更多适合中产的良好就业职位。
烈治文山联邦自由党国会议员候选人马万里(Majid Jowhari)表示，加拿大人需要一个更好的执政政府，他们已经看出联邦自由党拥有一个完善团队，且已经做好执政准备。马万里表示，小杜鲁道的团队由不同背景的代表组成，包括健康医疗、商业领袖、创业人士、前任/现任市府议员、市长等，在这些成员中，也有很多来自华裔社区的代表，且与安省乃至全国的社区密切合作过。
万锦-于人村联邦自由党国会议员候选人江邦固表示，小杜鲁道的团队汇集了拥有正确经验和知识的代表，可以起到发展加拿大经济，创造就业的作用，只有小杜鲁道的团队集合了拥有此类经验的候选人。联邦自由党拥有可以起到真正变革的计划，可以真正意义上帮助道所有加拿大人。
Liberal Party of Canada Gaining Momentum
Today in Richmond Hill, former Finance Minister and current Deputy Liberal Leader, Ralph Goodale, held a roundtable discussion with Chinese business leaders and candidates to share the Liberal Party’s plan for jobs and growth. “A Liberal government led by Justin Trudeau will grow the economy and deliver real change for Canadians,” said Ralph Goodale, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and candidate for Regina-Wascana.
Following a historic rally in Brampton last Sunday with over seven thousand people, Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are gaining momentum with Canadians supporting their vision to grow Canada’s economy, create jobs, and strengthen the middle class. Chinese business leaders are expressing their support for Justin Trudeau and his team of candidates prepared to bring real change and get Canada moving.
Liberal plan will:
• Create jobs by investing $60 billion in infrastructure – the most significant investment in Canadian history
• Cut the middle class tax bracket by 7%
• Help people find and keep good jobs by investing additional $775 million for job and skills training
• Invest in innovation that will grow the economy and create good middle class jobs
“Canadians want a better government in Ottawa,” said Majid Jowhari, Liberal candidate for Richmond Hill. “They can see that Liberals have a strong team that is ready to govern”, said Mr. Jowhari. Team Trudeau has members from a variety of backgrounds, including health care and business leaders, entrepreneurs, and former and current municipal councillors and mayors. Among these candidates, there are record number from the Chinese community who have a proven record of working with the community across Ontario and Canada.
