新年愿景(New Year’s resolution)，估计您在媒体中听到或看到不少！有人说，那都是人们对自己说的小谎言！不过，这些新年愿景，对有些人还真的有效，至少是一种励志，值得鼓励！
那么，在2024年，您的愿景又是什么呢？是不是与一些多伦多居民的想法重叠呢？下面是媒体报道的多伦多人的一些新年愿景，看起来还真的挺搞笑的，不是吗？
1. 我不再做麦霸。(I will not hog the mic at karaoke. 这个位居第一尤其让我吃惊，应该是华人，对吧？)
2. 我不会在TikTok上使用“多伦多口音”。(I will not do a “Toronto mans” accent on TikTok.)
3. 我会去拜访我的朋友，尽管他们搬到了一个小时车程，但只有4.6公里以外的地方。(I will visit my friends who moved an hour away on transit (4.6km).)
